The movie originally called ‘Human in Chains’ follows an astronaut doctor Ivan Hood (Bruce Campbell) and his astronaut friend Kelly (Renee O’Connor) as they return from their 40 year long mission into deep space. When they return back to earth from their trip into space they are horrified to learn that the world has been taken over by locust like aliens. Now Dr Ivan Hood and Kelly have to find a way to lead their own revolution in an attempt to free the humans, as they have been forced into slavery by the alien leaders. They must also try to locate the president who it is rumoured to have an army of slaves who have escaped in a bid to cause a rebellion.
