Korea, 1950. They're a MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) unit stationed three miles from the front lines during the Korean War. At times the only thing that keeps these docs sane after a long day in the OR is a zany night in "The Swamp" with a martini or two. Luckily, for the incoming wounded, these doctors and nurses also realize that a simple word of encouragement or a heartfelt round of laughter can be as important to their patients as a successful operation of carefully placed bandage.
